Description
Children requiring psychiatric assessment and treatment have a complex set of needs, requiring counseling and care coordination. Some of these needs include school-based evaluations and special education and related services associated with childhood psychiatric diagnoses and other disabilities. This project assessed school-related topics that mental health professionals discussed most frequently with patients, the resources most frequently requested by mental health professionals, and development of targeted materials for patients and families.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Diagnostic and Clinical Services
