Description

Family engagement is a critical component to developing successful family support programs. (Wingspread Report, 2011). This session will provide one statewide example of how families were engaged to better document barriers to supports through survey and focus group modalities. The take away message will be: family support services are a critical need in disability services and families are primary informational resources in the development and implementation of FS projects.
