Description

Health is determined by more than access to the health care system. Health is achieved through a combination of genes, environment, lifestyle, and social well-being. The UCEDD at URMC and Special Olympics New York sought partnerships with existing community resources to create opportunities to improve oral health, physical fitness, and healthy behaviors of people with IDD outside of routine health care visits.
