Description
This poster examines the efficacy and social validity of a family-centered intervention package designed to increase the acceptance of less preferred foods and/or food groups by young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study included four parent-child dyads and targeted behaviors identified collaboratively by the parent and investigators. The intervention package was individualized, family-centered, and that addressed multiple dimensions of mealtimes.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Improving Physical, Mental and Emotional Health and Wellness for People with Disabilities
