Description

This project's goal was threefold: 1) To understand the autism diagnostic and parent education procedures at clinics in the state of South Carolina; 2) To understand parental perceptions of the diagnostic and patient education process at a specific developmental pediatric clinic in Columbia, SC; and 3) To improve the diagnostic and patient education processes in the clinic based on key informant interviews with other clinicians and on parent feedback.
