Description
This presentation will discuss three different approaches to dispute resolution for individuals with disabilities: one that pre-emptively trains non-adversarial special education advocates to work with families of students with disabilities, another that focuses on the proactive use of facilitated IEP meetings to avoid the enactment of procedural safeguards, and last, one that addresses the unusually high rates of mediation and due process for families of children with ASD.Back to Session: Welcome Reception and Poster Session
