The AUCD Honors Celebration is a time to honor deserving individuals who have made distinct contributions to disability research, education, policy, services, training, special health care needs, and the lives of people with disabilities and their families. AUCD Honors Celebration - and Dinner
NEW for 2018 - Dinner being served during the Awards Celebration Ceremony
Open to all conference attendees, the AUCD Honors Celebration is a time to recognize deserving individuals who have made distinct contributions to disability research, education, policy, service, training, special health care needs, and the lives of people with disabilities and their families. This year, dinner will be served during the awards ceremony and drinks will be available for purchase at one of our cash bars. We hope that you will join us in recognizing the achievements of some of the disability community's brightest stars. View the categories in which we will honor individuals on this special evening.
After Party: 'State Fair' Style
Immediately following the AUCD Honors Celebration ceremony, we welcome all conference attendees stick around and hit the Minnesota State Fair Grounds with AUCD Conference Chair Amy Hewitt! This fun, themed post-ceremony party will celebrate the "Great Minnesota Get-Together" and sense of community that the state is known for. We will have delicious down home desserts, a DJ to mix some old and new tunes from your favorite Minnesota-based artists, dancing, fairground games, and some fun opportunities for photographs and festivities. Join your colleagues and friends for an evening of celebration and fun where "We ALL Belong!" (No extra ticket or fee is required for either event.)
