"Dr. Fujiura is a ‘master teacher’ who places high priority on teaching and mentoring students. He has played an invaluable role in advising and mentoring students, having served on over 50 MS and PhD committees of which he has chaired 36. He is sought after by students because of his immense expertise in methodology and statistics and his devotion to mentoring students. Dr. Fujiura’s stature in the field of disabilities is stellar both nationally and internationally. In addition to his seminal articles, he has been appointed to prestigious nations committees, been asked to present major keynotes at conferences, and is editor-in-chief of one of the leading journals in the field."
