Danielle  Webber, MSW

She will be supporting, creating, and coordinating capacity development activities and technical assistance for participating sites including: Learn the Signs. Act Early. (LTSAE) Ambassadors and State Systems Grantees, under a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), UCEDD, LEND, and other public health capacity building programs. She will also be involved in other health promotion activities including the creation of accessible health education information, support of coalitions, and training opportunities funded through foundation, and additional grant support as needed.

Danielle started her career at AUCD back in 2009 after receiving her MSW from the University of Connecticut. She was hired out of graduate school as a Project Specialist on the CDC/NCBDDD Cooperative Agreement and spent almost three years here before moving over to the American Association on Intellectual and Development Disabilities (AAIDD) to establish and grow their educational programs. Danielle comes to us most recently from a position managing grants and contracts for the University of Connecticut's UCEDD/LEND in addition to coordinating their information and dissemination efforts.
