Eva McNabney

Eva McNabney is an intern for the ADA Fellowship program, more commonly known as the ‘State Department Project,' for the Summer of 2017. Working with members of AUCD staff and partnered mentors at various UCEDD sites across the country, she seeks to provide logistical assistance and support to fellows from Brazil, Peru, Kenya, and Tanzania in their fellowship experience as well as the development and administration of their projects pertaining to inclusive education practices in respective home countries.

Eva is a Baltimore native whose love of travel and international perspectives took her abroad for her undergraduate degree. After completing her sophomore year at the University of St Andrews, located an hour outside of Edinburgh, she has fallen in love with the Scottish people and country. At school, Eva mentors children with ASD through a local NGO responsible for supplemental services for impoverished children with disabilities and their families. She has experience working with vulnerable populations in several countries around the world and has conducted in-country field work in Guatemala, Haiti, and Jordan, on matters of orphan and refugee rights.
