Sara  Luterman, MFA

Sara Luterman is a Communications Assistant at AUCD. She generates and tracks site and social media content and products to boost network visibility and produces Tuesdays with Liz: Disability Policy for All. She is also the editor of NOS Magazine - A neurodiversity news and culture site that she was able to found thanks to the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation and the HSC Foundation through their Advocates in Disability Award.

NOS has published work from acclaimed journalists and leaders in the neurodiversity community, as well as boosted the voice of less well-known self-advocates to a wider audience. Sara is also a former board member and organizer of the Association for Autistic Community. She was one of the primary organizers for their 2016 conference.

Prior to joining AUCD, Sara helped conduct neurology research at Johns Hopkins Bayview and worked as an editorial assistant at the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Sara holds a BA in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University and an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Maryland College Park. Her writing has been featured in The Guardian and The Thinking Person's Guide to Autism.
