Stephanie Weber, PsyD

Stephanie Weber, PsyD is the Training Director at the LEND Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati. She obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indiana in 2011 after completing internship at The Devereux Foundation's Leo Kanner Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Ohio and holds the rank of assistant professor of clinical pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati.

Stephanie completed her doctoral dissertation in the area of professional quality of life and has developed a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who devote their careers to providing effective treatment to these families. She works clinically with young children with autism as well as with children and adolescents demonstrating severe and challenging behaviors in clinical and educational settings. Stephanie completed her first year of fellowship at in The Kelly O'Leary Center working in the Severe Behavior Program and Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI) classroom concurrent with being a LEND Trainee at CCHMC. During that year, Stephanie participated in a LEND research project on the innovative strategies which states across the country are employing to fulfill the goals of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's "Learn the Signs. Act Early." campaign, which aims to increase awareness regarding early warning signs of developmental delay. She participates on committees and within professional organizations which aim to increase collaboration within the community.

Through her work as a second year LEND Trainee at Cincinnati Children's, Stephanie developed curriculum for LEND training in the areas of Conflict-Resolution and Negotiation and Policy and Advocacy. She also served as the 2012-2013 Virtual Trainee for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), a role in which she connected Trainees on a national level through projects and social media correspondence. Stephanie also served as co-chief of the Psychology Fellowship program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association, and Cincinnati Society for Clinical Child Psychologists.
