LEND Trainee

Terri is a LEND trainee in the Disability Studies program at the Institute for Human Development at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

For her AUCD-ESPA mini-grant, Terri is writing a paper highlighting Universal Design for public transportation. Her paper covers the possibilities for people with physical disabilities and cognitive issues, including siange, ramps, stairs, seating, and announcement systems. Terri is collecting information from city planners, persons working in Universal Design, entineering and architectural reports, journals, and Universal Design websites for her paper.
