Clinical Psychologist - Center for Development and Disability, University of New Mexico

The Center for Development and Disability (CDD) in the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide training, diagnostic and consultative services to New Mexican children and their families, educators and providers.  Rank is dependent on qualifications and experience.  The CDD plays a crucial role in the disability field in New Mexico by providing interdisciplinary training, dissemination of information, applied research, policy development and analysis, and clinical services throughout the state and addresses disability issues across the lifespan.  Opportunities are available to participate in program development activities and applied research. 

Minimum qualifications:  Candidates must have a PhD in clinical psychology or an equivalent degree, have completed an APA accredited clinical internship, be eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in New Mexico, authorized to work in the United States, work experience in the diagnosis of developmental and behavioral issues in infants and school-aged children, Autism Spectrum Disorders, interdisciplinary team participation and consultation to school teams on behavioral issues.

Preferred qualifications:  Experience with early intervention and school systems, mentoring, and multidisciplinary teaching experience.
