In partnership with schools, families, agencies and communities, the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning seeks to improve educational outcomes for students with and without disabilities by ensuring their access to a Pre K -12 continuum of instruction from high quality teachers.

This position will be responsible for developing and managing the operations of technical assistance relationships with educators, families, students and local school districts. Specific responsibilities are outlined below:
•   Conduct training, technical assistance and research relevant to teacher quality, school reform, and 
    special education.
•   Maintain an ongoing affiliation with local and state professionals in research and development activities.
•   Provide consultation and technical assistance to Indiana districts and local schools.
•   Develop training and public information materials and products.
•   Assist in the development of online training resources.
•   Participate as a member of a collaborative team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•   Master's degree required in Education, Special Education, or related area.
•   Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated working knowledge of culturally responsive
    practices, Universal Design for Learning and Positive Behavior Supports.
•   Must show a history of successful work in educational settings or related environments.
•   Demonstration of skill at communicating with parents, school administrators, community agencies,
    teachers, and state department personnel is necessary.
•   Preference will be given to individuals who have program development and facilitation skills.
•   Experience in research is also desirable.
