Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in operations management. Doctoral degree in Operations Management or a closely related field from an accredited program is required by August 21, 2018. Evidence of effective teaching potential is required and prior teaching experience in operations management and business analytics is highly desirable. Evidence of scholarly research potential in a field related to operations management is also required. Candidates must demonstrate commitment and ability to work, teach and mentor a diverse student population. Candidates must meet and maintain CSUN's requirements for classification as Scholarly Academic (SA) under the 2013 AACSB International standards of qualification. At time of appointment, the successful candidate, if not a U.S. citizen, must have authorization from the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate is expected to deliver excellent teaching in undergraduate and graduate-level courses, produce quality research, and engage in service activities for the department, college, university and community. In order to earn promotion and tenure, faculty are required to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to effective teaching, to engage actively in discipline-based research that results in refereed journal publications, and contribute to the university and community.
