The Center for Epidemiological Research for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (CERIIDD) is a new, independent, non-profit research organization analyzing the intersection of health care and long-term services and supports (LTSS) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CERIIDD's goal is to transform lives, practice and policy through data analysis so that individuals with IDD can lead the informed, person-centered lives of their choosing. It has been launched with funding from the OPRA Foundation, and is an independent entity. CERIIDD's founder, Mark Davis, and his team are in the process of recruiting an Executive Director. CERIIDD has an exciting and aggressive goal of producing groundbreaking research this year with and for a growing number of states to inform public discourse on policy and practice for people with I/DD. CERIIDD's research will focus on individuals with IDD who are Medicaid-funded LTSS recipients. More information on CERIIDD can be found at CERIIDD.org
