Functions as a General Practice Dentist at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center's McCampbell Hall dental clinic; provides leadership of dental program; defines goals, priorities and drives outcomes for the Dental Program; provides full range of dental care to adults with developmental disabilities; directs, articulates and implements strategies for continued quality and efficiency of patient care; oversees and assures compliance with federal and state requirements and licenses necessary for proper operation of the dental program; provides teaching and oversight of training program for The Ohio State College of Dentistry students, residents and fellows and Dental Hygiene students; directs, develops and evaluates community training and clinical service programs; plays a leadership role in the communities advocacy efforts for persons with developmental disabilities; plans and supervises community outreach services and technical assistance to community agencies for people with developmental disabilities.

Experience:  A D.D.S. degree (or equivalent) and licensure to practice in the State of Ohio is required; an Ohio Medicaid provider number is required; considerable experience in performing dental care, preferably in a clinical setting is required; residency or private practice experience and experience with patients with developmental disabilities or other special needs desired; privileges from the OSU College of Dentistry also desired; requires successful completion of a background check; candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
