Children's Integrated Services (CIS) Outreach Professional Senior:
This position will, through leadership, promote communication and collaborative efforts with CDCI colleagues and other partners and stakeholder groups to strengthen Children's Integrated Services-Early Intervention (CIS-EI) infrastructure and provision of quality supports and services for children birth to three with disabilities and their families and provide support to ensure VT Part C meets the Part C requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The position will monitor 12-15 regional CIS-EI Programs in VT to ensure fulfillment of the Office of Special Education Program (OSEP) and IDEA requirements within the context of, and in alignment with, the CIS Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement Process and Part C/Part B 619 Interagency Agreements. In collaboration with CIS Personnel Development Coordinator, this position will coordinate ongoing orientation, technical assistance, and professional development based on current needs and in collaboration with other CIS colleagues to support CIS/CIS-EI program improvement and promote evidence-based practices.
Masters in Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Special Education, or related field and three years' experience in direct service delivery in early childhood programs is required. Experience in Part C IDEA early intervention program development is desireable.
