Title: Intellectual Developmental Disability Professionals to Administer Assessments

This is a wonderful opportunity to work independently while providing a valuable service to the citizens of Virginia!!!!

Ascend Management Innovations, a MAXIMUS company, and a national leader in specialized evaluation services, is partnered with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services (DBHDS) to provide assessment services by administering assessments with the citizens of VA who have been diagnosed with an intellectual/developmental disability.

Ascend contracts with professionals who specialize in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the State who administers the Support Intensity Scale (SIS®) assessment. This assessment tool is designed to measure the level of support services individuals need so that they may live as independently and successfully as possible, enhancing their quality of life.

We are looking for quality driven, person-centered professionals in select areas (see areas below) who possess the passion, experience, and skills to administer these assessments. This is contract work and each clinician is reimbursed for each completed assessment. We also provide a comprehensive paid training.

Requirements

Independent Contractor Candidates must:

Have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience working directly with and/or providing direct care to individuals that have diagnoses of intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities.

Be able to attend a paid 2 week (approximate) paid training.

Have availability during regular business hours to administer the assessments.
