Sanford Children's Specialty Group is seeking a fellowship trained Developmental Behavioral pediatrician. This established practice works in a variety of multi and transdisciplinary clinics with a fully supported team of dieticians, social workers, special educators, physical, occupational and speech therapists. New fellows are encouraged to apply. Sanford Children's is the region's most accomplished, diversified pediatric specialty clinic, with more than 50+ pediatric sub-specialists represented.
Sanford Children's hospital is the flagship pediatric provider for Sanford Health that received a gift of $400 million dollars from well-known philanthropist T. Denny Sanford. A significant portion of these funds are earmarked for pediatric care to enhance its mission of clinical service, education, and research. The children's hospital is rapidly growing and provides a rich fertile environment for those interested in joining an energetic and supportive faculty.
PRACTICE DETAILS:
- This is primarily a clinical position but the candidate will have the opportunity to teach and do research if desired.
- Teaching medical students and residents is a requirement, and a faculty title in the Department of Pediatrics of the Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota commensurate with the level of experience of the candidate.
- Our Pediatric Residency Program began in July 2011 with its inaugural class of six.
