Think College at the Institute for Community Inclusion at UMass Boston currently has two positions available with the TPSID National Coordinating Center team.

Knowledge Translation Associate IIThe Knowledge Translation Associate (KTA) II for the Institute for Community Inclusion will support the national knowledge translation efforts of the National Coordinating Center with institutes of higher education serving people with intellectual disabilities. The incumbent will work with research, marketing and communications and training/technical assistance personnel to implement dissemination plans. The Knowledge Translation Associate II will work closely with study Principal Investigators (PIs) and the Project Coordinator in moving research findings into practice.

Research Associate IIIThe Research Associate III (Senior Research Associate) initiates, develops, and manages research projects at the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI). The incumbent will be responsible for developing project work plans; designing research protocols; coordinating data collection; and designing and implementing overall plans for data analysis. The Research Associate III (Senior Research Associate) will also initiate the pursuit of funding opportunities in concert with the ICI strategic plan and will take a leadership role in the development of responses to state, federal and foundation requests for proposals. S/he will design and develop written products for multiple constituencies, including individuals with disabilities, family members, state and federal policy makers, and the research community; design and provide outreach activities to address issues related to research, program evaluation and public policy formulation; and will provide leadership in the development of policy reports, conduct of technical assistance and training activities and service integration among local, state and national organizations.
