The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina announces a full-time postdoctoral psychology fellowship for the 2016-2017 academic year (pending budgetary approval). The fellow will participate in the South Carolina Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (SC LEND) program. Clinical duties include developmental, neuropsychological, and autism evaluations for children ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years. Limited therapy and research opportunities may be available to interested candidates. The fellow may also have the opportunity to gain teaching experience by serving as a preceptor to first year medical students in a course focused on the fundamentals of patient care. The Psychology Service in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is an outpatient clinic located in a major medical center that serves a diverse population of patients from a large geographical area. Postdoctoral fellows gain experience with a wide variety of pediatric populations, including children with developmental disabilities, complex medical and neurological concerns, learning disabilities, attention problems, behavior problems, autism spectrum disorders, and psychiatric disorders. Annual stipend is $42,840 plus benefits. Minimum Qualifications: PhD awarded from an APA-approved program in clinical or school psychology and completion of predoctoral internship.
