The Associate Project Director on this quality assurance and improvement initiative to assist the District of Columbia's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) to (1) meet its regulatory and legal requirements pursuant to Evans vs. Gray, (2) develop capacity within the service system to provide evidence-based health care that meets contemporary quality standards, (3) evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures related to the delivery of health care and related services, and (4) implement parenting supports using the Project IMPACT model. The initiative focuses on health and related health issues that impact access to services and supports and ultimately impact the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities. The goal of this initiative is to improve the health outcomes for adults with intellectual disabilities by addressing policies, practices, and resources for workforce development that affect change in the system of community-based services and supports. The Associate Director will be responsible for key aspects of the day-to-day operation of this initiative and will provide coverage of all aspects in the absence of the Principal Investigator.

Specifically, this position will be directly responsible for all monthly report development, assisting with evaluation activities, development of web page content, organizing the agendas for all team meetings to ensure that all project components meet projected timelines and quality measures.

Qualifications:  Master's degree in disability or health policy or related field.
