Research Associate 2 Positions - North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities (NDCPD), Minot State University

The North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities (NDCPD) at Minot State University is seeking two individuals to serve as a Research Associates on newly funded grant projects.

  • The first position focuses on disability employment. Knowledge of federal and state policy and best practices to support individuals with disabilities in competitive integrated employment is required. Experience as an employment specialist, job coach/developer, special education teacher for transition age youth or vocational rehabilitation counselor supporting employment opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities is preferred.
  • The second position focuses on general disability issues. This position requires 2-3 years related work experience in a disability-related agency/field, experience in presentations and writing technical reports or grants; and some experience in basic research activities.

BOTH positions require a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Special Education, Rehabilitation, Education, Management, Psychology or related field; master's degree is preferred.
