TITLE: 
Research/Data Analyst

BRIEF POSITION DESCRIPTION

CQL is dedicated to the definition, measurement and improvement of personal quality of life for people receiving human services and supports. Our primary services include training, accreditation, research and technical assistance. A key aspect of our work involves collecting, analyzing and disseminating data that inform communities, organizations and systems to better support those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and/or who are aging.

We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Research/Data Analyst to become part of CQL's Research and Technical Assistance Team. The person in this position will manage CQL's online databases, participate in technical assistance projects with state human services agencies, develop user-friendly data briefs and user guides, support research efforts to better understand the impact of CQL services, and demonstrate positive collaboration with organizational partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In coordination with the Research Team, the Research/Data Analyst will:

  • Develop and refine data tools (e.g., content, procedures for implementation);
  • Develop user-friendly guides for CQL staff and partner organizations;
  • Manage data systems (e.g., survey/database development, data tracking, aggregation and reporting);
  • Support CQL staff in project related policy and research analysis, report and presentation drafting;
  • Conduct research on human services best practices, policies and procedures for use in ongoing technical assistance projects;
  • Improve existing products and/or develop new products;
  • Develop data briefs for staff, board, and public;
  • Develop and maintain communication with key individuals within assigned projects;
  • Conduct database trainings for staff and customers (e.g., webinars); and
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex and varied project expectations and deliverables;
  • Demonstrated experience in the human service fields;
  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills;
  • Detail and deadline oriented;
  • Demonstrated written and oral presentation skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint (SPSS and SurveyMonkey a plus); and
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication or human service related field.


SALARY: 
$35,000 - $45,000 commensurate with experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  CQL is a virtual organization. All staff work remotely.
