Position Summary:

The University of Idaho's Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD), College of Education seeks passionate and well-qualified applicants for a Research Faculty appointment. The position is non-tenure track with eligibility for promotion. The person appointed to this position will foster and support interdisciplinary research and increase the analysis and evaluation capacity of the CDHD and the College. The successful candidate will have an established research agenda, a strong quantitative research and analysis background, and have an interest and back ground in the disability field.

Minimum Qualifications:
• An earned doctorate in a social science field (i.e., special education, early childhood, educational psychology, sociology,
  clinical psychology, adult learning) with a strong background in quantitative research;
• Evidence of strong grant writing capacity;
• Evidence of strong future scholarship capacity;
• Ability to teach advanced quantitative research methods;
• Excellent communication skill.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching at the university level;
• Experience with and deep understanding of diversity and cultural proficiency;
• Experience in Special Education or the broader disability field;
