The Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin - Madison is seeking psychologists for its Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic. The Clinic provides interdisciplinary family centered care for children, youth and young adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in partnership with UW Health and the American Family Children's Hospital.

The available positions emerge from an expansion of diagnostic and treatment services for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Assessment skills are required in the areas of cognitive, adaptive behavior, and social-emotional/behavioral functioning. Experience with autism specific diagnostic measures such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is required as is experience providing intervention services and behavioral consultation for clients with developmental disabilities. Research reliability for the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is highly desired. Waisman Center psychologists also supervise trainees and participate in Waisman Center clinical research activities.

A minimum of two years of experience with clients with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families is required. Applicants should be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Wisconsin or be licensed within one-year of hire. An adjunct clinical appointment is possible depending on qualifications and experience. A period of evaluation will be required. A criminal background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
