The University of Arizona, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetic and Developmental Pediatrics is seeking 3 clinical faculty with experience in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, pediatric genetics, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. There are numerous clinical opportunities including NICU follow up, specialty clinics, diagnostic clinics and we are a Level 1 Trauma Center. The Department operates multiple surveillance, basic, and clinical research programs studying muscular dystrophy, early intervention, autism, brain injury and much more. The Division houses the Arizona Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program, and collaborates with the Arizona UCEDD and faculty have the opportunity to mentor LEND fellows in addition to teaching and mentoring opportunities through the medical school and pediatric and trauma residency programs.


Assistant or Associate Professor - PMR
Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a busy trauma center to children and young adults with traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. Duties include consultation to the inpatient pediatric and trauma teams, providing clinical care in an outpatient setting after their inpatient and/or inpatient rehabilitation stays, teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows, and participate in the academic mission of the Department of Pediatrics. Geneticist, Assistant or Associate Professor

Provide inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management to children and young adults with genetic conditions in Southern Arizona and statewide. Duties include consultation to the inpatient pediatric teams, providing genetic diagnosis, evaluation and clinical care in an outpatient, teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows, and participate in the academic mission of the Department of Pediatrics.
