Director for Disability Rights - The Arc, Washington DC

The Arc, the nation's leading nonprofit advocating on behalf of and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), is seeking a Director for Disability Rights, a key member of the 5-person Public Policy team. The candidate will cover a range of issues, including federal policies affecting the rights of individuals with I/DD and long term services and supports. This individual works directly with the U.S. Congress and the Executive branch on related disability issues. The individual also works extensively with national coalitions and with state chapters of The Arc.
