Dear MCH Colleagues:
During this holiday season, I wanted to reach out to you for a few reasons. First, as you may all be aware, we at HRSA have been focusing a great deal of attention on the transformation of the Title V Block Grant. Second, in an effort to reach out to the broader MCH community, we have produced a new video. You can view the video at: http://mchb.hrsa.gov/blockgrant/index.html. This video represents my first attempt at synthesizing all the big ideas I've heard so far into a common working vision, but it is still a work in progress, and it still needs work - which leads me to my third reason for this note.
I would like invite you to view the video critically (pay special note to my starring role), and take a few moments to provide us your feedback. All of this is in preparation for the new guidance that is going out in 2015, and taking into account OMB clearance processes, I'd like to get us to a common vision by the AMCHP conference in late January so we can start writing the new guidance in February 2014.
