"David has been integral to the success of the Indiana Institute through his leadership and ability to vision for the future, in Indiana, nationally, and internationally, in the areas of transition and supported employment of persons with disabilities. As a prolific writer and researcher, David's scholarly work is extensive and highly regarded by his colleagues in the US and numerous other countries. Additionally, David is a Past President of AUCD, served on the AAIDD Board of Directors, and was a founding Board member of APSE, the Network on Employment. David can be relied on as a colleague, collaborator, and friend. For ideas, information, advice, and support, he is always there, as he has been for the people of Indiana, our network and the nation."
