Peter Blasco, MD, Oregon LEND/UCEDD, Receives AACPDM Mentorship Award

At the 66th annual meeting of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, Dr. Peter Blasco was honored by receiving the 2012 AACPDM Mentorship Award. Dr. Blasco was nominated by his former and current fellows in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Dr. Michael Kruer, who practiced at OHSU as a fellow from 2007 to 2011, led the ceremony where the award was presented.

The AACPDM is an interdisciplinary organization of health professionals and researchers who work with children and adults who have childhood-onset disabilities. The Academy's mission is to provide multidisciplinary scientific education for health professionals and to promote excellence in research and service for the benefit of people with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities. The Academy was founded in 1947 and boasts approximately 1,000 members from around the world.
