AUCD Signs onto SSI Reccomendations to Improve Outcomes for Children with Disabilities

By signing on, AUCD demonstrates its committment to advocating for policy reforms that improve and strengthen the SSI program to better and more effectively support beneficiaries.  Such policy reforms include:  work incentives, transition age support and counseling (e.g. expanding the Student Earned Income Exclusion), comprehensive approach with improved interagency coordination, Continuing Disability Reviews (CDRs), and Insititute of Medicine Review.
