Two new web-based courses offered for continuing education

Susan M. Havercamp, Ph.D., Nisonger Center, The Ohio State University, will present two web-based trainings designed for physicians, registered nurses, certified health education specialists, and others who care for persons with disabilities or have an interest in caring for persons with physical, sensory, and developmental disabilities. Part I will provide information about health and healthcare issues for people who have mobility and sensory disabilities. Part II will discuss health issues and barriers to healthcare for people with developmental disabilities. Both courses have been approved for continuing education by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for physicians, nurses, certified health education specialists and other health professionals.
