AUCD signs on to a set of comments sent to the Department of Health and Human Services in response to its Essential Health Benefits Bulletin released in Mid-December. Written by the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities, the letter commends the requirement that states' benchmark health plans include the ten categories of benefits listed in the Affordable Care Act, but raises concern over diminished federal oversight in this area.
