Guidance for Organizations Interested in Offering Capitated Financial Alignment Demonstration Plans

In a guidance memorandum to organizations interested in the three-year "capitated financial alignment demonstration plans," Jonathan Blum, director of CMS's Center for Medicare, and Melanie Bella, director of its Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office, said that the contracts-among CMS, health plans, and participating states-"will test administrative, benefit, and enrollment flexibilities."
The agency said it will provide more detailed guidance between February and early April.
