New URC Leadership Development Resources

AUCD is pleased to announce the new UCEDD Leadership Development page on the UCEDD Resource Center website!  On this page you will find:

• UCEDD Leadership: A Guide to the Next Generation.  Developed by a workgroup of UCEDD Directors, this guide will assist university search committees in locating an new UCEDD Director.
• The Roles and Experiences of Senior Staff During Director Transitions at UCEDDs.  A report based on interviews with senior staff who recently experienced a Director transition.
• UCEDD Director Transition Webinar: Successful Strategies for Supporting UCEDD Staff and Search Committee Members.  The webinar introduced the two documents above and featured Harold Kleinert, Director of the Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky; Celia Feinstein, Associate Director of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University; and Don Tebbe, Executive Vice President at Transition Guides, a consulting firm focused on nonprofit executive transitions.
