March 21, 2011

Think College and the National Service Inclusion Project have awarded a jointly funded grant to the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin to support one or more individuals with an intellectual/developmental disability (IDD) to enroll in national service, complete a year of national service, earn an Education Award and use that award to support their participation in postsecondary education. Dr. Daniel Bier of the Waisman Center is the principal investigator of this exciting new project.

The grant is funded by Think College, a project funded by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities and the National Service Inclusion Project, funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, through the Association of University Centers for Excellence (AUCD).
