The DC LEND Program at Children's National Launches Accredited Graduate Distance Education Course

October 14, 2010

The LEND Program at Children's National (DC LEND), in partnership with the Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at the George Washington University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences, has launched a year-long, 6-credit Distance Education course for the 2010-2011 Academic Cycle. The class is instructed by the core faculty of the DC LEND Program, with registrants including but not limited to the entire 2010-11 Long-Term DC LEND Trainee Cohort. In the Spring of 2011, it is expected that students from other programs will increase overall enrollment as the partnership expands access to the course to other students at the University. The course is called "Introduction to Developmental Disabilities for Health Professionals".
