This information sheet was developed by Taryn Liu, MPH, Public Health /Autism Fellow, in fulfillment of a required Specialty Concentration Project in the LEND Training Program, USC UCEDD at CHLA. Ms. Liu worked closely with the Chinese Parent Association in Los Angeles, and through focus groups and extensive review of the translated document by professionals as well as parents, she adapted the Learn the Signs Act Early Autism Fact Sheet from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The target audience for the Fact Sheet is parents and family members, providing them with access to this important information in Mandarin Chinese. Please contact Cary Kreutzer, MPH, RD, Community Education Director, USC UCEDD with questions, [email protected].
