VA LEND Family Mentorship Experience Selected as One of VCU's 40 Acts of Caring

As part of Virginia Commonwealth University’s 40th anniversary celebration, the university has selected 40 Acts of Caring which represent some of VCU's creative initiatives and community partnerships. VA LEND’s Elaine Ogburn has provided the vision and leadership for the Family Mentorship Experience.  A reception was held on October 24, 2008, to recognize Elaine, the families who volunteer their time and share their lives with trainees, and the trainees who participate in this valuable learning experience.
