David R. Johnson, Director of the Institute on Community Integration (UCEDD), University of Minnesota, has received the University's 2008 President's Award for Outstanding Service. He is one of 11 recipients of this year's award, presented in recognition of exceptional service to the University by a faculty or staff member. David has received the award for his exemplary contributions to leadership, scholarship, education, service, and outreach at the University, local, state and national levels through his work as director of the Institute, Professor in the Department of Educational Policy and Administration, and Associate Dean for Research and Policy in the College of Education and Human Development.
