2007 NSIP Fellows Program

The NSIP team is proud to announce the creation of the NSIP Fellows Program for community-based researchers, practitioners, service providers, and advocates. In the program's pilot year, NSIP is awarding two (2) 1-year fellowships ($8,000 each) to individuals dedicated to ensuring that service members with disabilities have successful experiences while participating in opportunities to serve, improve and strengthen their communities. In addition, the sponsoring UCEDD or a not-for-profit disability organization is eligible in receiving $1,000.00 for administrative fees in association to providing guidance and supervision to the recipient during the course of the fellowship program. The deadline for the application submission is Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Funding begins on November 1, 2007. A later start date is permitted but all awards must be activated by January 15, 2008.
