AUCD signed on to a letter to Congressional leaders that strongly urges that any legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act include a detailed replacement plan that provide equal or improved access to affordable, high-quality health insurance. Congress is set to repeal the ACA without such a replacement plan, an action that would have disastrous consequences for many Americans. The letter was sent to the majority and minority leaders in the Senate, the House Minority Leader and the Speaker of the House. It was also sent to the Chairpersons and Ranking Members of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, the House Ways & Means Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, the Senate Special Committee on Aging, and the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee.
