MCHB Welcomes Hae Young Park as Deputy Director, Division of MCH Workforce Development

Hae Young Park has been part of the MCHB family since 2000 when she began her federal career with MCHB's Research Program as a Presidential Management Intern. As part of the MCH Research Program team, Hae Young has been a Project Officer, Team Lead and most recently Acting Director, involved in the development and oversight of MCHB's extramural research programs.With the expansion of MCHB's research programs resulting from new appropriations for autism and other developmental disabilities research in 2008, Hae Young provided leadership in the development of MCHB's autism intervention research programs, including multi-million dollar research networks and investigator-initiated research projects addressing the needs of underserved populations. Hae Young has a master's degree in public health from the George Washington University School of Public Health. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her kids, ages 8 and 6.
