Jennifer Debes

Legislative Director
Office of Representative Ander Crenshaw, (R-FL)

In Recognition of Your Commitment to Strong Public Policy for
People with Disabilities and their Families

"Jennifer Debes is awarded the Gold Star for her professional and personal efforts to develop and pass the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act with input from AUCD and the greater disability community. Jennifer, a graduate of Colorado State University, is the Legislative Director for Congressman Crenshaw, the lead sponsor of the ABLE Act in the House of Representatives. The ABLE Act, originally introduced in the 113th Congress, was not easy to get through this Congress. Jennifer helped to build a bipartisan coalition of Members of Congress and advocates that ultimately led to success."
