MCHB Update - DMCHWD

Autism Awareness Month provides a chance for us to acknowledge the collective accomplishments of MCHB's Autism CARES investments and to reflect on where we can continue to move forward to achieve our shared goals. As programs, we have a lot to celebrate! Each year the Training Programs continue to impress us with all that you do to train future leaders to care for children with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. You are recruiting more diverse trainees, expanding the reach of your programs through regional partnerships, and engaging more family leaders. The insights you shared through the LEND-DBP strategic thinking sessions will help us to further grow.

One MCH personnel update to share - Laura Kavanagh is now the Acting Deputy Associate Administrator for MCHB. Lauren Raskin Ramos will continue to serve as the Acting Director, DMCHWD.
