Project HEAL Project HEAL (MD UCEDD/LEND) Recognizes an Outstanding Law Firm Partner

Project HEAL (Health, Education, Advocacy, and Law), a community-based program of the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute, recognizes Ballard Spahr, LLP, a law firm partner, for their exceptional generosity and support in 2014.

The Baltimore office of Ballard Spahr chose Project HEAL as the recipient of a 2014 year-end gift of nearly $10,000. Ballard Spahr, a national law firm with more than 500 lawyers nationwide, has a long tradition of charitable giving. Each year, its attorneys donate to a range of charitable causes including those supporting health, education, the arts, and community enrichment. Ballard Spahr donates more than 30,000 hours of pro bono legal services every year on a national basis.

Ballard Spahr is a key partner with Project HEAL, providing pro bono legal services and assistance with generating educational materials for clients of Project HEAL, including drafting and printing a brochure aimed at helping students with disabilities transition from high school to post-secondary settings.
