2024 Annual Disability Statistics Conference: Surveys, Statistics, and IdentityLocation: In-Person/OnlineOn Thursday, March 28, 2023 -in a one-day hybrid event in Washington, DC and via Zoom- The Center for Research on Disability will be releasing the Annual Disability Statistics Collection, which fills critical gaps in national, state, and historic data related to people with disabilities by synthesizing complex data from numerous U.S. federal agencies into accessible formats. The Conference will also include two sessions addressing the latest in disability statistics, including survey methods and how disability is defined in national surveys. |

9th International Research Conference on Adolescents and Adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum DisordersLocation: Hyatt Regency, Seattle, WADespite thousands of published articles on FASD, limited research focuses specifically on adolescents and adults with FASD. As individuals diagnosed with FASD age, the "need to know" across a broad spectrum of areas continues to be critically important for identifying clinically relevant research questions and directions that will impact their day-to-day function and health outcomes. With a prevalence rate of 1 in 20 in the United States, FASD is highly relevant to addiction treatment providers. Building on the work of eight previous conferences, this conference will examine relevant global research, programs, and policies. |
